After nine years building success, Jember city will once again takes world's eyes on them through Jember Fashion Carnival X. This year, the overall theme is "Eyes on Triumph". Mark July 24th on your calendar because this will be an international spotlight event. It will get media coverage from hundreds of national and international media. Besides, thousands of spectators will crowded the runway for as long as 3.6 km in Jember. There will be total around 600 participants, divided into 10 defiles, from the first JFC until the ninth. The defiles performing will be:
Royal Kingdom - Inspired by British Royal Kingdom army's red suit and black long hat, JFC Marching Band will present themself with a fantastic choreography and formation with black, red, white and gold nuance. Spectacular musical illustration . These all can be presented extravagantly using affordable material, and you can find it in here, Indonesia.
Punk - American Punk! You can see it on the street corner to Broadway stage. It has become a lifestyle to certain people to express their emotion and creation, marked with bunch of accessories and graffitti style.
India - Talking about India, our imagination may be ran to India chaiya chaiya dance with an Indian girl running down the hill or around a pillar with thunderous music. Those are the characteristic of India that will be presented here.
Athen - was described as a legendary state with pantheon and heroic soldiers. War symbols and masculine gladiator every where, together with walls ornaments, and other details such as shield and blade.
Tsunami - Years ago, the world had shocked by the tsunamis in some spot. Walls of water destroy all living things and leave it shattered and damaged. Now they stand with a new power. The destruction can be the beginning of a revival.
Bali - has been so well known as a beautiful ethnic Island. Its beauty and culture has inspired people around the world, including symbols like Garuda Wisnu Kencana and many other.
Borneo - an Island with the high biodiversity and culture has make it a unique island. The symbols are feather ornaments, engrave, spear and exotic accessories
Roots - symbolizes that life should always moving and growing, with its forms and movements. We have to grow as far as possible because it will make us stand strong, stay strong and move on through the year..
Animal plant - This inspires us to stay close to nature: plant and animal. The combination of these elements create a unique character.
Butterfly - details on its wings and stroke of colors makes butterfly as a symbol of beauty. But in this defile, they will present you with the other side of butterfly, its mysterious and illusion side.
