Indonesia has Cassava War!
Have you ever watched tomato war on foreign TV channel? It seems exciting and crazy. I can imagine what I will be in the middle of a war like that. Fox sauced tomato. Hehehe..
Btw, Indonesia has that kind of event too. But in here, they don't use tomato, since tomato price is rising everyday. Instead, they use cassava. In Indonesia, cassava is called "Ketela". The cassava war is part of a series of event called "Festiv-All Tela Indonesia 2011".
Festival Wayang Indonesia 2011

Monas Kite Festival: Let's Run a Kite!!
It's summer time and the good news is, you can see some kites this weekend! Whoaa... I'm so excited about this. Why is that so? Because kite is something that I don't see for a long time, this is not only ordinary kites and moreover, I don't have to go far to see them Just go to Monas this Sunday and you'll find A LOT. Yes, Monas will not stand alone this weekend because hundreds of kites will color up Jakarta sky.
Little Tokyo Ennichisai
I think I start this project on a right time, or maybe on a right place. There's so much interesting event recently and I become, "Wo u oo.. I'm craving to go to the events but can't do that T____T Rawrrr.. One kind of events that I like very much on school days is Japan events, the Matsuri. So far, I know there will be 2 Japan events, this Little Tokyo Ennichisai and SENYUUM. I will discuss this first ya..
Little Tokyo Ennichisai mostly consists of Japan themed competition; karaoke, cosplay, etc. You can find not only interesting competition to join, but also entertainment from bands and art performance. When your tummy asks for food, there is plenty of Japanese food sold by sponsors.
One tip for attending this kind of event: bring fan, use sunblock and hats if needed! The heat can be so unbearable.
So, here's the predicted rundown: (all schedule can change at anytime)
