It's summer time and the good news is, you can see some kites this weekend! Whoaa... I'm so excited about this. Why is that so? Because kite is something that I don't see for a long time, this is not only ordinary kites and moreover, I don't have to go far to see them Just go to Monas this Sunday and you'll find A LOT. Yes, Monas will not stand alone this weekend because hundreds of kites will color up Jakarta sky.
This event is attended by Central Jakarta people from 44 districts and kite runner from many province in Indonesia. There will be a kite exhibition which shows many kind of kite with different shape, from 2 dimension until 3 dimension kite! From a small common kite until extraordinary kites. This activity will be guided by professional kite runner from Le Gong Kite Society, a kite community. Children can get the opportunity to learn how to make kite and know kite's function long ago.In this event, surely there is kite competition. The winner will get money prize and guidance. For me, it seems fun since kite running is exciting , but I'm not good at it :p So, let the pro plays and we enjoy the entertaining show :)
